Dancing Horses

The Royal Lipizzaner Stallions. Love me a big, beautiful, majestic steed. And the even bigger black Friesian horse that stoled the show for me. There were eight white Lipizzans.

The MC gave us the history of the Spanish horses. It started with a demonstration of the different foot movements. It was very cool watching them all side step in unison across the floor. Loved the leaping horse. It reminded me of when my grandma had horses, I was very small and on one with my uncle. He got the horse to do this and I recall saying, do it again! do it again!

Taking a bow for the crowd.

I would highly recommend seeing this. I don’t have a bucket list but if I did, the Lipizzans would be checked off now. We had excellent seats and were encouraged to take photos, flash and all. Great thing to do on a cold February day in Michigan for sure. The music, ugh. Classical. Wonder if they ever rock ACDC?
